Waste Plasterboard has recently been reclassified as a non-inert waste. What this basically means is that it can no longer be disposed of using the old fashioned method of general Landfill.

We are running a trial project, funded by WRAP, the Government sponsored Waste Resources Action Programme, to determine how much plasterboard & gypsum waste is generated at Civic Amenity sites in Kent.
